Gia Manek out of Saath Nibhana Saathiya

Gia Manek as Gopi Bahu of Saath Nibhana Saathiya has been instrumental in making the show popular, but now she has been asked to leave the same. The reason behind the sudden decision is the fact that Gia broke the norms of her contract with Star Plus, as soon as she entered Colors' dance reality show Jhalak Dhikhla Jaa.

As per our sources, "Gia was strictly asked not to join the rival GEC, but the actress chose to ignore the warning. Now, the channel has immediately discontinued her as the lead of their show. It was clearly mentioned in the contract that any actor working with the channel cannot breach their contract."

Commenting on the entire episode, Star Plus spokesperson said, "Saath Nibhana Saathiya will see a new face essaying the role of 'Gopi Bahu', the lead protagonist of the show. The association with Gia has however, been discontinued with immediate effect, due to unprofessional conduct and breach of contract from the actor’s side. "

When we tried to contact the actress, she refused to comment and said, "I would want you to call me after the launch of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as that is more important for me at the moment."
Well, it will be interesting to see who will step into the shoes of Gia Manek as Gopi Bahu in the show.
