“As a child, Eklavya and Dronacharya’s story used to be an all time
favorite with me,” says Pratyusha Bannerjee, who will be seen depicting
their story through dance in this week’s episode of Colors’ Jhalak
Dikhhla Jaa.
A Rashi special episode, all the contestants this week will be seen performing to one zodiac sign and she will be performing for the Dhanu rashi or Sagittarius. Since it is a mythological act, Pratyusha (also seen in Balika Vadhu) and her partner, Deepak poured over history and philosophy books to make sure that they have the right version of the story and “it was like going back to school”, she quipped.
Dancing to the title track of Omkara, this duo will be seen giving an action packed performed armed with their bow and arrows, ready to shoot them straight into the hearts of their fans and hoping they walk away with the perfect 30.
