I am a fan of Rajinikanth: Sanath Jayasuriya

Excited to wear his dancing shoes on reality dance show Jhalak Dikhla Ja 5, former Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya says he is in awe of superstar Rajinikanth. “I am a fan of Rajinikanth. I have watched some of his movies and like the way he acts,” he says.

Jayasuriya will shake a leg on the fifth  season of the dance reality show, that airs on Colors and his choreographer partner is Suchitra. Though, all the three judges on the show are his favourite, Jayasuriya says he adores the dancing skills of Madhuri Dixit. “I don’t really watch Bollywood movies. But I have watched one of Madhuri Dixit’s, can’t recall the name though. She is a brilliant dancer,” Jayasuriya says.

Though he is not a trained dancer, Jayasuriya is enjoying rehearsing his dance moves. “I don’t dance at all! I am practicing quite a bit. It’s a different and difficult task. I will do my best,” he says. Jayasuriya believes his physical fitness has helped him in dancing. “The body is definitely fitter and flexible. But dancing is a tough task,” he says. The practice schedule did not seem hectic to him though. “I am used to it,” he says.
