Mauli wants to do reality shows

Signer-turned-actress Mauli Dave wants to focus only on reality shows. The actress who was the runner up of The Fear Factor 4 has been getting a lot TV offers because of her good looks, but she has declined them all. “I have been offered many TV roles, but I have declined them because I prefer to act in films,” she says. The actress says that she is okay working on TV as long as it’s a reality show. “If I am offered Jhalak Dikhla Ja I would take it up instantly.”
Faisal to play Tulsidas on screen
After winning accolades for his role in Naseeruddin Shah-directed play Baghdad Wedding, Faisal Rashid will be next seen in the role of Tulsidas in serial Upanishad Ganga which will be aired on DD. Faisal says, “The serial is a precise, well-written, well researched effort. Every episode has different stories and every story has an Upanishadic teaching for the audience. Playing Tulsidas will always be close to my heart. We know the renowned poet Tulsidas but the character I play is the one much before he became popular for his work.” According to Faisal, the stories may look ancient but the meaning is quiet contemporary. “The audience will see, that though it was in the ancient times yet the problems these characters faced were much like ours,” he says.
