It's time to put on your dancing shoes to display your moves and
grooves for the most exciting dance reality show of the year 'Jhalak
Dikhhla Jaa'.
Indian television channel, Colors, gives UAE dancers a chance to
showcase their talent and present it in front of dancing diva Madhuri
Dixit.
Those interested in participating in the contest can choose a
Bollywood dance number of their choice along with a partner. Contestants
have to be 16 or above 16 years of age to be a part of the auditions
that will be taking place in Dubai on June 1 and 2.
The grand finale will be on June 16 at Sheikh Rashid Aditorium,
Dubai. The best performing couple will get the opportunity to fly down
to Mumbai.They will get to dance in front of Madhuri Dixit on the sets
of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa - Dancing with the stars'.
This is a show where celebrities can perform with professional dance partners on a highly competitive scale.
Madhuri Dixit had judged the previous season of the show along with
choreographer-turned-director Remo D`Souza and Maliaka Arora Khan. But
this time filmmaker Karan Johar will replace Maliaka.
The show that has previously been aired on Sony will be broadcast on Colors this year and has Madhuri as one of the judges.
The promo features Madhuri performing on one of the songs of yesteryear’s actress Meena Kumari.
Madhuri pays her tribute to some of the dancing divas of yesteryears like Mumtaz and Sridevi.
