'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7' to be tougher: VJ Andy

VJ Andy, who has put on his dancing shoes for the seventh season of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", starting June 7, says this season is going to be tougher than the earlier ones.

"I am very excited to be shooting for 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.' It's a very, very ramped up show this time. The contestants are amazing. I have seen some of the acts and they are amazing," Andy said here Saturday in an interview.

"I think this year it is going to be very difficult to keep the ante up every time you come back on the stage. That's something I have been working on," he added.

Other contestants in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7" include actors Kritika Kamra, Mouni Roy, Purab Kohli, Karan Tacker, Sophie Choudry, Pooja Banerjee and Ashish Sharma, professional dancer Shakti Mohan, singer Sukhwinder Singh, comedian Kiku Sharda as Palak and cricketer S. Sreesanth.

Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'souza will judge the show.

Drashti Dhami Struggling At Hosting Jhalak...

Drashti Dhami, the popular TV actress and winner of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6, has already proved that she is a very good actress and an impressive dancer, but the Madhubala of the small screen seems to be having trouble hosting a dance reality show like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Drashti along with Ranveer Shorey are hosting the popular dance reality show on Colors, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 7. The actress made a lot of buzz when the news about her being back on the show was announced. But when the show started shooting, however, reality seems to hit.

Drashti apparently has issues being spontaneous in hosting the show. Drashti's nervousness during the shoot had her constantly read from the teleprompter and repeatedly had re-takes during the shoot. "Drashti was not at all comfortable shooting the first episode. She used to take many re-takes.

Hosting has to come out naturally, but she constantly used to read from teleprompter. On the other hand, Ranveer Shorey was in a very much comfort zone. Since, it's just the beginning; the chemistry between them is not going well as of now.

May be after some days, they will bring out their best," a leading website quotes a source from the show. Also the premier episode of the show has got mixed reviews about the hosts of the show. The word around says that while the show is back with a spectacular season, the hosts when compared to the previous hosts, Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul are a disaster.

‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ season 6 is all set with star studded glitterati

If you have been watching the promo of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ with full interest,
watching Remo, Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit sashaying to ‘cha, cha, cha’, then you
are guessing it right! The Indian format of the ‘Dancing with the stars’ is all set
to hit the idiot box with its 6th season.



The season is all set to create ripples with its whole new set of star studded

Melyang Chang started his small screen journey as a contestant of ‘Indian Idol’ but after the popular reality singing show Melyang’s popularity has grown leaps and bounds.

He has time and again proved his singing and hosting prowess and that is the reason why he is being considered as a strong contender for hosting the next season of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

According to sources, nothing as such has been confirmed or finalized as of now and the producers and the channel have shown a keen interest to have him on board as a host.

His being the winner of the last season and a popular face, may give a boost to the decision of his selection.

Meiyang Chang approached to host Jhalak Dikhla Jaa!

Ever since we have heard about celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa returning on Colors, a lost has been talked about the show’s host.

In the recent past we got to hear of many names making it to the prospected list of Jhalak host and moving on, now we have one more name to be added. Buzz has it that the makers are keen on getting multi-faceted Meiyang Chang to play the host.

It is notable that Meiyang was the winner of Jhalak in the previous season. He pipped the extremely talented Sushant Singh Rajput and bagged the winning title. Sources close to the production house state that the makers are quite confident about Meiyang making a good host. They state that as he was the winner of the last season, he might connect well with the audience.
