Sreesanth reveals dancing helped him overcame dark phase

S Sreesanth, who is banned from cricket for spot fixing, has found his new love in music and dance.
Despite six surgeries both in left and right toes, former Indian cricketer has dancided to participate on a TV show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7". He revealed that the show was like a "therapy" for him in this bad phase.

Despite being passionate about dancing, Sreesanth was worried while signing for "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7" in the beginning.

Banned speedster, as per IANS, claimed: "I was a little confused in the beginning, whether to sign up for the show or not since it's a reality show and it involves voting. But my family, and especially my wife supported me, and I grabbed the opportunity."

"The show has helped me overcome the bad phase in my life."

After his involvement in Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing last year, Sreesanth, who is currently out on bail, is trying his hand at something new.

"If you have some talent in yourself, then show it to the masses. I have six surgeries both in left and right toes. I was on a wheel chair for two months, after my surgery. The toe is not supporting, but that doesn't stop me. I follow my mantra - no pain should stop you, and I have proved that. Dance is my new passion," Sreesanth continued.

"Music and dance is in my blood. All my family members have given a lot of preference to art. They all have a career in art. I'm the only one who built a career in cricket."

When asked which one did he enjoy the most - cricket or dance? Sreesanth replied: "I love both. I loved playing cricket and I love my journey here. I love whatever I do."

Show will go on air on June 7, the show will see as many as 13 contestants trying with three judges - filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Madhuri Dixit and dance guru Remo D'Souza.

Karan Patel gets the wild card

Jhalak Dikhla Ja season 6 recently added few more celebrities to the show as wild card entries. Another name to join this wild party is popular TV actor Karan Patel.

Karan, has been a part of number of TV serials and has been a very popular face on Indian television. He has also taken part in few reality shows before this. Karan also made his big screen debut in the multi starrer Sanjay Gupta film ‘Shootout At Wadala’.

Rohit Roy to enter `Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa`

Mumbai: Actor Rohit Roy is set to be the first wild card contestant on dance-reality show `Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa`.

Rohit, 44, who once hosted the show, posted the news on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"So guys. Here it is. Am entering `Jhalak Dikhla Jaa` as a wild card entry. Need all your support and love.. And votes of course," he said.

and has had various Hindi and Telegu movies to her credit.

Sexy damsel Lauren Gottlieb in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6?

Tellychakkar.com has just learnt that sexy damsel, Lauren Gottlieb, who gained fame via swaying her sexy hips in the movie ABCD, is believed to have been signed as one of the contestants in the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6 (BBC Productions).
 
“She is a contestant and in most probability will pair opposite Salman Yusuff Khan,” said a source.
Salman is a known Jhalak face and incidentally has acted opposite Lauren in ABCD.

When we called up Salman to learn more on the development, he confirmed being a part of Jhalak’s upcoming season but had no idea on Lauren being a part of the show or not.

All efforts to reach Lauren proved futile.

The show is expected to hit screens by end of May or beginning of June (2013).

After Siddarth Shukla, Karan Kundra to jive in 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'

If not for dancing skills, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa - season 6’ promises to be easy on the eye, what with many hunks from the television world uniting on one stage.

After Siddharth Shukla, Karan Kundra and Eijaz Khan have put on their dancing shoes for ‘Jhalak’.

Just days after we heard about Karan’s Bollywood entry, we are told that the heartthrob is planning to step up and fight for the prestigious dancing title.

The actor, who has bagged parts in three Vikram Bhatt films, is trying to fit in his dance rehearsals for ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

In fact, his entry into the dance show doesn't come as a big surprise, as Karan has already displayed his talent on the show ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’.

He even participated in a girls-versus-boys dance show ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’ in 2009, in which he was reportedly "quite impressive".

On the other hand, Eijaz Khan, who shot to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kkavyanjali’ in 2005, may have to struggle a bit.

With very little training in dance, the actor might have to work doubly hard to put up a good fight.

Meanwhile, actor Siddharth Shukla has confirmed with Emirates 24|7 his participation in the show. “Yes, I will be participating (in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’),” he revealed.

The other celebs who have been confirmed for this season are Drashti Dhami of ‘Madhubala’ fame, Bollywood singer Shaan, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ star Aarti Chhabria and Ammaji aka Meghna Malik who starred in ‘Na Aana Is Des Lado’.

Anas Rashid declines 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' offer yet again

Anas Rashid who essays the lead role of Sooraj in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum has in no time garnered quite a lot of popularity, and this is very evident in the fact that he has been getting many meaty reality show offers of late.
The talented actor was offered the opportunity to take part in the previous season of Colors’ reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Anas had then gone on to decline the offer as he was very much committed to his show. And now, he has yet again been considered for the latest season of Jhalak.
Talking about it, Anas said, “Yes, it is true that I was offered Jhalak last year. I could not take it up as I was busy shooting for the Singapore stint of Diya Aur Baati Hum then. This year, I was again approached for the dance reality show. I refused it once again as I understand how difficult it is to manage two shows at a time. I have been seeing Neelu Vaghela (aka Bhabho of Diya) juggle between our show and Jhalak. And I realized that I cannot manage two shows at a time and give my best shot at both.
